Hi. I’m a pottery nerd.

I’m Marcie, and I’ll admit it: pottery is my jam (and my delightful obsession). I fell in love with pottery in high school -yes, the classic origin story- then life happened and pottery went on the back burner. My wife and I uprooted our Midwestern lives a couple of years ago, and now I’ve got the time, the clay, and the joy of making things almost every day. Best decision ever.

Living and working in Port Angeles, Washington means my studio views come with mountains, water, and a whole lot of mood. My pieces are little souvenirs of that scenery: colors, textures, and patterns that sneak in from the woods, the tide, and whatever interesting cloud formations showed up that morning. No two are the same, because why would they be?

Pink Moon Pottery is my cozy home studio, but I’m also a regular at the community studio in town. You’ll often find me there, elbow-deep in clay, trading stories and ideas with fellow makers.
